I learned firsthand at the age of 5 what can happen when you don’t properly plan for your family’s financial future. My father passed away at the age of 38 from pancreatic cancer. Our family was not equipped to face the uncertainty that fell on us with his passing. There was nothing in place to prepare us for the grief or financial burden of losing a loved one. It was a devastating blow to our family.

I began my career in financial services in 2009 following 20 years of distinguished service to my country in the Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. I completed three carrier deployments and flew over 40 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. My time in the military fostered a keen adherence to the ideals of integrity, commitment, and dedication to excellence; ideals that are at the heart of my business philosophy today. I earned a degree in Economics from Penn State, a Master’s degree from the Naval War College, as well as a Master’s degree in Personal Finance from Kansas State University. While in the Navy, I taught at the Air Force Academy for three years as an Adjunct Professor of Management, facilitating a course in personal finance to over 150 cadets.

Born and raised in South Park, this area is my home. I am a member of McMurray Rotary and Peter's Township Chamber of Commerce. My bride of more than 32 years, Tracey, and I have three boys, Will, Tyler, and Cody, and reside in Venetia, PA. I am passionate about serving others and partnering with them through life’s journey.
